JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Look after & manage the Radiology patients under the guidance of the consultant.
• In the absence of the Consultant to faithfully look after the Radiology patients along the indicated line of treatment.
• To be an in-house consultant for all emergency situations encountered in the hospital.
• Actively participate in presentations of CME’s and Journal clubs.
• Assist the consultants in all emergency cases. Assist in scheduling of cases and coordinating the radiology department activities.
• Participate actively in the teaching program of nursing staff and technicians. To keep up-breast with the latest technology and innovations in the field of Radiology.
• Supervise all nursing/para medical & non medical staff of the department to maintain discipline and high standard of medical care at the department as per standard operating procedure.
• Assists the Consultant for:
• Special material management requirement
• Complaint redressal of patients
• Co-ordination with patients for the surgeries
• Co-ordination with the OT staff for the preparedness of the procedures like equipment, OT supplies, patient records and medical history etc.
