KEY ACCOUNTABILITY/ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for complete quality after sales service to customers and manage business operations encompassing after sales service, sales/ business development, market competition analysis and man management.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Managing Workshop / Body Shop Operations with responsibilities pertaining to effective servicing and repairs of vehicles, insurance & claims, billing, initiatives
  • Planning and fulfilling hand / special diagnostic tools and equipment requirements for the workshops, analyzing repair orders to fix problems.
  • Scrutinizing technicians’ productivity and efficiency levels; assessing drops in productivity and instituting corrective actions; identifying & facilitating training requirements of workshop staff.
  • Identifying and networking with prospective customers generating business from existing accounts and achieving profitability and increased sales growth.
  • Conceptualizing & implementing services plans / policies for the organization, ensuring accomplishment of business goals.
  • Providing immediate service support to the customers for resolving their issues and complaints in compliance with the preset guidelines and rules.
  • Developing and managing contracts with customers and ensuring timely availability of equipments, tools & training for the technician team to facilitate smooth functioning of service centre.
  • Handling installations, commissioning and revenue generation through service and sale of spares.
  • Tracking daily complaints, ensuring proper manpower and route planning to ensure lesser response time and faster speed of service.
  • Identifying areas of improvement & recommending modifications to enhance operational efficiencies.
  • Analyzing the nature of faults & taking follow up actions to provide quality feedback of product from field.
  • Planning & controlling spares/ inventories for entire stock management & availability as per requirement. Relationship building with clients for enhanced terms ensuring continued & repeat business.
  • Providing instant service to customers entailing provision of fastest solutions to customer concerns so as to enhance their satisfaction levels.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Automotive Industry background
  • Dealership experience of four wheelers in authorized dealerships

REQUIRED SKILL SETS AND BEHAVIORAL TRAITS:

  • High levels of customer orientation and marketing skills are essential
  • Good interpersonal and communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem solving and analytical skills are mandatory.
  • Good planning skills for a cost efficient, effective operation.
  • Self starter being able to work with targets and roles and responsibilities.
  • Must have leadership qualities.
  • Should be able to work as a team member in a matrix organization.
  • Impeccable professional and moral ethics.
