JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Conceptualize Safety, Health & Environment Policy as per the need of the organization
• Design & implement best safety and health systems, processes & practices including motivational campaigns, competitions and cultural change initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, corporate norms and guidelines.
• Prevention of occupational illnesses and injuries to employees, including contractors, strive for benchmark for all facilities and aim for worldwide benchmark
• Monitor environmental control facilities, analyse and evaluate potential safety hazards, set up medical facilities, set up EHS monitoring system

• Introduction of risk analysis methods and techniques, e.g. FMEA and Hazop in the organization
• Design & conduct training programs to bring safety awareness among the employees
• Ensure compliance under ISO 9002/14000/18000.

DESIRED PROFILE:

• BE Electrical / Mechanical / Industrial Engineering with additional qualification in Industrial Safety & Environment Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of exp in SHE function in electricity utility or heavy engineering or process plants. Knowledge of SHE systems,OSHA & British Safety Council standards, statutory/regulatory requirement related to Industrial Safety & Envi.
