JOB DESCRIPTION for MANAGER CIVIL:

To oversee all civil section jobs including structure design, implementation of planned project, etc. of the electricity business
To prepare plan of project implementation and monitor on site project progress and ensure execution
To coordinate with HT Construction for jobs involving repairs and modifications in old substations and new substations, and to ensure installation of power after testing by other parties
To ensure preparation of tender specifications and terms and conditions for material suppliers and evaluate technical details of vendor offers, and oversee related commercials
To generate MIS reports of monthly work (capital and breakdown maintenance work) and data analysis and annual report for related activities.
To handle procurement through Materials Dept.
To make breakdown arrangements to meet emergency requirements.
To monitor load of distribution transformers and ensure required action (replacement, etc)
To liaise with Govt. bodies (AMC, PWD, AUDA), contractors and vendors
To oversee civil work like renovation, repairs & maintenance of existing office buildings and premises

JOB DESCRIPTION for ASSISTANT MANAGER CIVIL:

On-site Civil engineering for power plant equipment
On-site Civil engineering for 33/66/132/220 KV switchyards, transformers, control room, cable trenches, roads and fencing works etc.
Preparation of construction plans, including detailed specifications, estimation for civil work including tender specifications and terms and conditions for material suppliers and analysis of rates, evaluation of technical details of vendor offers, and related commercials.
MIS reports of work progress
Interface with Govt. authorities, contractors and vendors

DESIRED PROFILE:

BE(Civil), an MBA would be added advantage
For Manager- 8-9 yrs of experience
For Assistant Manager 6-7 years of experience
